Student Ministries
In our Student Ministries, we strive to lead our youth to become passionate followers of Christ.
F.Y.S.H. (Fremont Youth Serving Him—grades 9-12) and Oasis (grades 6-8) meet regularly to study God’s Word, serve in the community, or fellowship together. Students are encouraged to grow in their faith, apply God’s truth to their daily lives, and live out our mission of making Christ known in the world around them. Our prayer is that they will SHINE for Jesus in all they do.
September Schedule:
F.Y.S.H. meets on Sunday from 5:13-6:45pm

- Sept 29 Prayer Walk at 2nd CRC
Oasis meets on Tuesday from 6-7:30pm
- Sept 15 Kick-off at FCS Gym
- Sept 29 Bible Study at FCS Gym
Our Bible Study lessons this fall will be based on themes out of the book called ‘Do Hard Things’ by Alex & Brett Harris. We’ll cater these topics to be relevant to each age group, as we’ll be using the same topics for both ministries.
Cadets will meet on Wednesday evenings at the club house in Fremont 6:00 – 8:00 pm the first and third Wednesday of the month, beginning on Sept. 23, 2026. The club house is located on Mulder Street, behind the former Co-op. Cadets will meet throughout the school year and conclude for the year in late April/early May 2027.
The Cadet program for boys includes:
- Junior Cadets (1-3 grade);
- Recruit, Pathfinder, Builder (4-6 grades);
- Guide Trails (7-9 grades).
This year’s Theme is “Mountains of Blessings,” and is based on Psalm 125:2 – “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.”
Themes change from year to year, but always guide our children to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They can also earn badges through skills acquired.
G.E.M.S. (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) will meet on the first 3 Wednesdays of the month from 6-7:30pm, beginning on October 7. Meetings are held at:
Reeman CRC - 6121 S. Fitzgerald Ave.
Fremont, MI.
The G.E.M.S. program is for girls in grades 1-5.
Wayfinder: Following the Way, the Truth, and the Life teaches girls that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). Through Wayfinder, girls will be equipped to navigate life with God's Word as their trustworthy compass. With the Spirit as their faithful Helper, girls will be empowered to journey with Jesus!
